Why is personal branding so powerful?
Nowadays, there’s no success for someone who hasn’t built a strong personal branding.
Why is personal branding so powerful?
Personal branding is the way you project and promote yourself out in the world.
It’s an ongoing process of establishing your public persona in the eye of your target audience. It should reflect the unique combination of skills, experience and personality that differentiate you from the competition and elevates your profile in order to attract your niche.
Therefore, it involves conveying carefully and accurately your values, beliefs, goals, and purpose both with verbal and NON-verbal communication.
According to Alysa Rushton, inspirational speaker and coach, your values, behaviours and even appearance are a representation of your brand at all times. When you are congruent with your brand, business soars. But if you behave in a way that is inconsistent with what your brand claims, customers flee.
Since the beginning of my career, I have always believed that the way you express yourself through what you wear is as important as the look of your website, the credential on your CV and even, the tone of your voice.
Your presence as much as your communication, and your credentials are part of your job too and it matters more than many can think, as it determines how quickly someone can trust you and your company.
Therefore, being consistent among all elements of your branding without leaving any part to the case or to the last minute decision it’ll transmit value, professionalism and trustworthiness. Now more than ever, in order to be successful a business cannot afford to not ensure trust and build credibility to his audience.
I strongly believe that in order to reach your full potential, you must not only represent your business but should strive to become the full embodiment of your personal and company brand.
This is why when I work with my clients either for the launch of their new brand identity and their overall image, I make sure to achieve with them a genuine and sustainable representation of who they are, what they stand for and how they would like to be perceived.
Sometimes we forget how much an outfit can not only make you feel much more powerful but also, inspire and positively impact others.
